Book I'm reading: Building a Thriving Practice

I did it! I finished my second book! Gift this to anyone you know that is building their own practice. Building a practice requires more than passion and a purpose. It takes knowing how to find your ideal client, confidence in what to do next, and suggestions on what has worked for others. These pages give a step-by-step roadmap on how to succeed. My goal in writing this book is to offer clear guidance, real-world examples, and encouragement. I made a lot of mistakes building my practice and I've had many successes. Learn from my mistakes, claim your space, trust your value, and know what to do next to fill your schedule.

Testimonial I'm loving: Treatment for Alpha Gal Syndrome

Alpha Gal Syndrome is initiated when you're bitten by the Lone Star tick. It introduces a moleculed called alpha-gal into the blood stream. The molecule triggers an immune response that can be deadly. Common triggers are beef and dairy. Immune response can appear 2-6 hours after eating. You may get hives, itching, or a rash. More severe reactions include vomiting, dizziness, swelling of throat, and anaphylaxis.

I've had two patients in the past month ask me if I know of a treatment. I didn't until this week. A patient came in telling me about an acupuncture session she did in Oklahoma. She said it completely got rid of all symptoms after one session. Her sister suffered as well and was also 100% after one session.

Carrie Howard is the acupuncturist doing the sessions and it sounds incredible. She is in Oologah, OK and she sounds worth the trip. You can contact her at 918-418-9359 or at https://alphagalelectroacupuncture.com

Quote I'm contemplating: What are you smiling at?”

I whirled, peering into the gloom. The Darkling’s voice seemed to float out of the shadows. He walked down to the stream, crouching on the bank to splash water on his face and through his dark hair.

“Well?” he asked, looking up at me.

“Myself,” I admitted.

“Are you that funny?”

“I’m hilarious.”

Product I'm trying: Baking Soda

Remember the beautiful cast iron pot from last blog? Well, I burned a hill of popcorn into it. I thought I ruined it. ChatGPT to the rescue. It suggested making a paste of baking soda and water and soaking it, then simmer with a little more water added, then rub it, and then repeating it. It took a box of baking soda and all day, but the pot looks new again. And it's ready for more popcorn!
