My Friday Five. Five things I've been implementing and exploring this week.

Book I'm reading: Spare by Prince Harry
This may be a controversial choice. I can't explain why I was so drawn to read Spare, but I started it the day it was released. Actually I listened to him read it and finished the 15-hour listen yesterday.
Listening to it I understand why it is an important book. You may disagree and that's okay. Stripping away all the royal drama is a man struggling with mental illness, PTSD, feeling like a misfit in the family and social media obsession. His struggle is similar for far too many people..
If you are struggling with mental illness, please reach out. Text HOME to 741741 or AYUDA to 741741 for Spanish support. A live, trained Crisis Counselor will receive the text and respond from their secure online platform. Service is also available on WhatsApp at 443-SUPPORT for English and 442-AYUDAME for Spanish. You can also call the National Suicide Prevention Line at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
Success Story: BEMER PEMF Mat
A friend in Florida shared this incredible story. She has seen miracles with patients using the BEMER and this is truly a remarkable healing story. A gentleman was on the amputee list due to some serious circulatory issues. He purchased a BEMER and used it one session for eight minutes a day, not even the recommended twice a day for eight minutes. He was removed from the amputee list within a week! It's crazy to even write that it was only a week. I had to text my friend to confirm that timeline.
This device works 100% of the time in 100% of the people to increase circulation. We've been using it for a few years on us and the pups with great success. If you'd like to know more feel free to email me: gail@painfreedallas.com or check out this informational website.
Quote I'm meditating on:
"Pick your battles. You don't have to show up to every argument you're invited to." - Mandy Hale
Product I'm using:
I really wanted to love the InstaPot, but I found it difficult to use. We were gifted this Ninja Foodi and I thought it would fall the way of the InstaPot. It surpassed my expectations. We have the first generation and I use it every week for our food prep for the week. It took a few tries to find the best temperature and timing for our liking. I can put in frozen meats and veggies and cook them perfectly. It is super easy to learn to use, it is helping us eat more vegetables and unprocessed foods, simple to open and check on food and the clean up is a breeze. Every Sunday I say, "I love this thing!".
Music I'm listening to that makes me happy:
How Long Will I Love You by Jon Boden, Sam Sweeney and Ben Coleman
One of my favs from one of my favorite movies About Time .
P.S. I took the above picture Sunday night while I was doing meal prep. It's one of those things that exists in nature I stare at and am in awe.
