My Friday Five. Five things I've been implementing and exploring this week.
Health idea I've implemented: Eating smaller meals more frequently
I tend to eat two big meals per day and have been repeatedly told it would be better to eat smaller meals throughout the day. I've stocked my office with snacks that tested as superfoods on my Food Sensitivity/DNA test. I get pouty and stubborn because I like a warm meal with veggies not dumb snacks. I'll eventually get in the groove and will stick with it for a while to see if I feel better.
Product I'm discovering: Blue Air Classic 405i Air Purifier
We almost didn't purchase our dream home. There was a flood eight feet into the back of the house after we placed our bid. The sellers had agreed to a mold test which resulted in a positive reading on a very toxic mold. They had agreed to remediate, but then said they would not. I was contacting lawyers about our options two days before we were suppose to close. We had another mold test done by Greenworks and hired a mold expert to help us determine if the home was safe. We didn't get those results or hear back from the mold expert until late afternoon the day before closing. The mold expert said there was some mold, but the home was safe. He suggested a Blue Air Purifier and to hire him again when we redo the floor to make sure there was no latent mold spores. We noticed an improvement in the air within minutes of it running. You can buy an air quality monitor that will communicate with your filter run when the air needs cleaning.
Quote I'm meditating: A real conversation always contains an invitation. You are inviting another person to reveal herself or himself to you, to tell who they are and what they want. - David Whyte
Book I'm reading: Misdiagnosed: The Adrenal Fatigue Link by Steven M. Zodkoy
Misdiagnosed is an easy read, but be warned he will make you think everyone has adrenal fatigue. He is selling supplements, but I think there is some good information that may help you learn why you're so tired all the time. It gives some easy tips and suggestions on how to feel better.
Music I'm listening to: Marry You by Bruno Mars
As you know, I like a song that gets stuck in my head for days that makes me dance. Marry You does both.
Please forward and share my blog. I like sharing. Thank you.
